The cheaper call centre cost six times more
A charity moved social leads to a cheaper provider, watched conversion fall from 9% to 1%, and saw acquisition cost rise from about €80 to €600.
A lower hourly price is not cheaper when the callers cannot convert the work.
Nine per cent became one per cent
A charity moved the same kind of social-media leads away from us for a cheaper rate. Conversion fell from about 9% to about 1%. The cost to acquire one donor rose from roughly €80 to roughly €600.
The recovery was immediate
They came back. Four of our best agents took the campaign and the result returned immediately. The leads had not become impossible. The difference was the callers.
Cheap must be measured at the end
We are normally the cheapest Irish option anyway; only offshore centres tend to quote below us. But buyers should compare the cost of the completed result, not the price of an hour that produces very little.
