A successful American poll we refused to repeat
ContactCentre.ie completed successful American political polling but stopped because overnight hours were wrong for the Donegal team.
We can do excellent work and still decide that the campaign is not worth doing again.
The calls worked
Several American political polls came through a research relationship formed during the Brexit work. The Donegal callers performed brilliantly. American respondents often wanted to remain on the phone talking about Ireland.
The clock did not work
The time difference pushed the campaign into the middle of the night in Donegal. Staffing it was extremely difficult and the success did not make those hours good for the team.
We told them no
A completed result is not the only measure of suitable work. We stopped taking the overnight American polling. Protecting the team sometimes means refusing a campaign we know we can complete.
